In Buchi, Pinyin village, the need for a safe haven and support system is more critical than ever. We're launching a fundraising campaign to build a vital Rural Farmers Community Center, a beacon of hope in these challenging times.

The Crisis in Buchi Village

For years, the people of Buchi have faced unimaginable hardship, farming disrupted, families displaced, and left many without access to basic necessities like food, clean water, and healthcare. Children and women are particularly vulnerable, with limited access to education and facing the trauma of violence and displacement.

How This Center Will Transform Lives

• Provide a Safe Haven: Offer shelter and protection for displaced families, particularly women and children, who are most at risk. Also, it will serve as a central location for the distribution of donations of food, clothing, and other necessities.
• Support Farmers: Serve as a hub for agricultural training, resource sharing, and cooperative initiatives, helping farmers rebuild their livelihoods and ensure food security.
• Empower Children: Create a safe space for children to learn, play, and receive psychosocial support, helping them cope with trauma and access basic education.
• Facilitate Healthcare Access: Serve as a point of access for visiting medical professionals and provide basic first aid and health education.

We are at the first phase in the contruction of our Community Center in Bamenda. This will serve not just as meeting spot but a central hub for distribution of resources, personnel, and will also contain the regional head office where team members, team leaders, can liaise with other team members and leaders in different sectors and regions. When completed this community center will be a game changer in our operations. Being a central hub it will have a great positive impact and significant reduce logistical expenses.
